Description
LockesArmyKnife is a plugin that combines several small utilities. It can filter out NPC chat, tell you which items you will drop on death, alert you of items running out of mana and even use mana stones automatically for you.Screenshots
FAQ
Aren't there random factors in item drop on death?
Yes. The amount of items you lose on death can vary by 0-2. LockesArmyKnife will always assume the worst case.Additionally the value of items is randomized by an unknown percentage when sorting the item list. To compensate for this, LockesArmyKnife will try to detect death items and use only 90% of the value for those while using 110% of the real value for other items.
How does LockesArmyKnife detect death items?
First, LockesArmyKnife has a list of common death items (eg master robes). Additionally LockesArmyKnife will look at the inscription of all your items. If an item is inscribed with "DI", "Death Item" or "Deathitem", LockesArmyKnife will know the item is a death item - this comparison is case-insensitive.Death item names will be in white in the prediction list while other items are in red.
Please let me know if LockesArmyKnife fails to detect something as a death item.
Why is death item prediction so slow?
LockesArmyKnife needs to assess all items in your inventory for this. Decal will only send assessment requests to the server once every 250ms, so if you just logged in it takes a while to collect all required data.Can I change the sound played when my items run out of mana?
Yes. Simply replace the "lowonmana.wav" file with a .wav file of your choice. The file can be found in the subfolder "sounds" under the folder you installed LockesArmyKnife to (usually c:\program files\decal plugins\lockesarmyknife).Releases
