Asheron's Call
Asheron's Call is a MMORPG made by
Turbine∞. It was released 1999 and was for a long time the only real competitor to Everquest.
It is still activly developed, the monthly patches bring new content and improvements on a regular schedule. And with Asheron's Call: Throne of Destiny the second expansion pack will be released soon.
I have been playing Asheron's Call almost since it's release and although I took some breaks every now and then, I always returned - and propably always will do as long as the game exists.
